Help answer this question below.

Four vehicles arrive at a 4-way stop sign together. mail truck, ambulance and police car. who has right-a-way?

    I've been told,amazing as it may seem,that the United States Postal Service(mail truck)has the right of way regardless. (Course somebody could have just lied to me or could have just said that to me to simply just say it???)I remember being 'amazed' myself at the answer, thinking how could that be? Just don't seem right. ?? Especially if the Police or Ambulance have their sirens going!

    • I remember that, also, concerning the mail truck. now, its who arrives first, second, third and fourth, in order. code 3 emergency vehicles, always have the right of way.

    • Hi again & Thx John Pennington for the clarification. Most definitely code 3 emergency vehicles MUST have the right of way..they HAVE to.(Its like'Duh',U know!**little humor there) In total agreement w/U! Know much info. re: joint child cust
