I am a felon but am finding it hard to find a job. How do I find the companies in my city and state that will hire felons?

I think if you are sincere and truly want to make a change, clean your heart of anything that is holding you back, you can find work. Good luck. Perhaps a good place to start would be your state unemployment bureau, they may be able to direct you.
