    • It is one of them books that you need to follow, its gets real good after about chapter 8 and then all the wierdness starts to fall into place.

    • Even if it is shit you should have gave it a chance. Half-assing things like this really kills me inside.

    • You didn't offend me. I gave you 6 points! I just think you should have gave the book, that you half-assed (that wasn't meant to be offensive, it's just the way I talk) a chance.

    • Sage, I am sorry but I must agree with our residant mistress, you did "half arse" the book. It is a good book, if you enjoy reading like you say you do then give it a blast a little past the first few chapters.

    • I started reading when I was 12, I am now 63 I have read many books that didnt grab me, put it down and went back to start over and finished, but The Da Vinci Code didnt,so i figure 1 out of many isnt a bad thing

    • I must side with sage on this one, I don't think the Da Vinci code is a book that simply "must" be read. I would agree with slothmister if the book in question was Ulysses or something of similar calibre, something I would agree really should be read. But then it is all subjective I suppose. Read what you like. TO be honest I think I skimmed most of the first few chapters as I was bored as well, although it does get a bit more engaging later on :)
