God is in my heart. i try to love him with all my heart, my soul, my mind, and my strength, because i know i would not be who i am without His blessings. His teachings have taught me how to truly love my loved ones, myself, and others, even my "enemies". i realized welcoming God into my life was beneficial because it washed away all the hate and much of the negativity in my life. do i still have struggles? yes. do i still make mistakes? of course. but having Him in my life has taught me what love truly is.

John 4: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love."

Corinthians 13: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
