    For marines:

Service "C" uniform: you wear these during summer/spring garrison/peacetime
Service "D" uniform: most marine corps recruiters wear these
    Service "B" uniform: winter garrison/peacetime
Service "A" uniform: worn during ceremonies or inspections and when reporting in to a unit

Dress Blues: worn during prestigious ceremonies, such as the Marine Corps Ball

Camoflauge Utility: most units wear these during work/peacetime and during training and combat

    annnnnnnnnd thats about it!

    • Not quite. There aren't any Service D's. There are however Dress A's, B's, C's and D's.

Each uniform is worn depending on the weather and the formality of the event.
