Is the old testiment a lie? Did god really create the world in 7 days or have we proven this was not the case through science? If so does that mean that god has broken his own rules - 'though shall not lie'?

God simply CAN NOT LIE. The entire Bible is TRUTH. God is Holy and cannot sin.

Science has disproven 'The Creation' theory over and over. If there is such a thing as God and He does exist as we believe He does then no He cannot lie but the Bible was not written by God, it was written by fallible mankind!

The Bible is the living Word of God, the men who wrote it wouldn't have been able to if it wasn't for the Holy Spirit.

Creation isn't a theory. It explains why, not how. And it does so in terms that could be understood by Bronze Age shepherds. The fact that it can still be understood in light of modern science is a small miracle all by itself.
