THe term is Hooah! I was in the Army. That is what they say. It is just an expression of pride and enthusiasm.

    • I am Army, and it is Hooah - it is even on Army recruiting t-shirts. I think it means "acknowledged."

    • Every branch of the Service has its own version of the word, whether it Hoo-Rah, Hoo-Ah, Oo-Rah, or Woo-Hoo. [that last I just made up] Huzzah is at least as old as Victorian England.
