The important thing is that a 3 month old SHOULD not eat pureed foods.

Health experts and breastfeeding experts agree that it's best to wait until your baby is around six months old before offering solid foods. There has been a large amount of research on this in the recent past, and most health organizations have updated their recommendations to agree with current research. Unfortunately, many health care providers are not up to date in what they're telling parents, and many, many books are not up to date.

    • ALL babies need what is nutritionaly correct for them and there is not a single shred of evidence to suggest that a healthy 3 month old baby could benefit from solid foods.

    • totally agree it can actually be worse for them as they can not digest it properly.

    • Have you seen the news recently? Now all the experts agree that you babies need more than just breast milk or formula before they are 6 months! Guys just go with your instinct. I could see and feel that my son is bored of milk at three months, constantly hungry and not able to drink more than 6oz at the time- even that took him 45 min to drink...I grandmother gave me pasta at three months and here i am living healthy without alergies... :)
