Our dog had this problem once. haha Our dog has been through alot. Anyways, it is the same exact symptoms. Try feeding your dog mineral oil. He might have eaten something that he can't digest properly. Our vet was stumped also, and second opinion, and third was also stumped. We thought our dog was going to die, but after a week or so of feeding him very small amounts of mineral oil, he suddenly livened up, ran across the kitchen floor and we noticed a big string hanging out of his hind end. It was a piece of our kitchen mop. You should try it. Good luck and I hope it works. Just find anything that he might eat like tuna, cat food(dogs love cat food), or something that you can poor a teaspoon of mineral on to get some results. If this does not work, ask a local humane society. Their vets are better trained =)

    • No, no, no...do NOT try this! If your veterinarian cannot determine the cause you should be referred to a specialist.
