Question

Help answer this question below.

I suffer from some anxiety, and have had one panic attack. It's a very odd feeling, in which it's tough to change your thoughts from positive to negative. I know many people who suffer from anxiety, does anybody on here? And how do you live your life?

    I used to get very anxious when I was little - and I still have problems now. It is a horrible feeling and it usually makes me very nauseous.

    I try to get through it by rationalizing my thoughts as much as I can. If that doesn't work (which it usually doesn't) then I try to ignore those irrational thoughts. The best ways this works for me is concentrating on my breathing, watching a movie/TV, or having my boyfriend sit me down and calm me down.

    • Going for a brisk walk helps, too. Oh, and writing in a journal helps to "get out all the crap" that's making you feel bad.
