How does the verse, "Be still, and know that I am God" apply to contemporary christian music, where adrenaline and bodily movements are so commonplace?

    The verse doesn't literally mean to be still, but I think it means to quiet your mind and heart and listen to what God has to say because if your mind is racing about where your going after school or daydreaming about other things, you probably aren't going to be able to hear God's voice through all the stuff your thinking about. This is what I think it means,but different people interpret verses in different ways...it just depends on the way you look at it, but if your'e really looking for answers you should ask an adult that is a christian because I'm only 13 years old and don't have all the answers, but I hope this helps.
