The tissue surrounding the orofice of the vagina is the labia minora. After sexual intercourse, the labia has a tendency to become loose. This is normal because of the constant thrusting of the penis. The loose labia will eventually protrude and hang the more sexual encounters a woman has.
Giving birth will also make the labia loose. This is quite common. If it is very loose due to a difficult childbirth, the labia can actually be surgically repaired as to tighten it.
