Anyone want to kill fred phelps with me?

    Fred Phelps is a human being. A vile, hateful, disgusting man that has done no end of harmful, stupid, and even unmentionable things to his family this nation and the people of the world. He pickets funerals with his church as a way to protest his beliefs and the government does nothing because we all have freedom of speech. It should also be observed that you lose your freedom of speech when it infringes upon the rights and well being of others. For those pursueing law alternatives.

    I am in no way a fan of him or his followers; however, to beat your opponent you have to stay calm and out wit them. There are billions of people in the world that disagree with his church and all we do about it is read in the paper or talk about. True few people have tried to sue them. And I now make a shout out to the person who offered Phelps radio time in return for his garuntee of not picketing at the 9 yr old girls funeral. You are a hero. If you want something done about The church then someone will have to start organizing people to take charge against them.

    People have an amazing ability to band together over certain issues which is proven time and time again in history books. It takes one group of people to start a movement to change the world.

    If they are coming to your town, even if you don't know the person who passed away, follow the lead of others. Find a way to block them out. Whether it be giant angel wings protecting the greiving from harm, loud music blaring toward the streets, a gathering of many people standing silent just to block the view, or maybe even consulting with your city to have road work on that street that day to drown the protestors out.

    I have family in the military, I have friends of every race, creed, religion and shape, and I choose to focus on the positive. They have their message let them say it as much as they want but at the end day I know that the world is full of good people and what they say won't phase us. If we don't look out for eachother then who do we have? Stop Fred Phelps by standing together as one against His church in a non violent way.
