Xena or Hercules?

    OK, I've already given one response to this question, but I thought I'd give another.

    No matter what people say about how great Xena was, the fact remains... That she never existed, mythological or otherwise.

    Hercules is a timeless legend that has endured for centuries and still inspires people today. Some of his exploits in the myths may have even been partially true, for all we know.

    Slaying monsters, defeating warriors and tyrants, founding the olympics, even battling against gods - these are all things that Herc actually did in mythology.

    Was there ever some woman who did all the things Xena does on her show? No.
