You're reading What do you think of George W. Bush?

Agree. The number of jail terms will not be limited for him, though.

Despite W's best efforts, you are still entitled to have an opinion.

jervinator: HILARIOUS!!!
by teknimage on December 2nd, 2006
Yeah, really? Like, what's NOT to love about the man? He is a lier, a cheater, a murderer and a war criminal. He has tried to circumvent the very Constitution he has sworn to uphold and has disregarded so much advice from men and women much, MUCH smarter than he is to lead us into a "war" that there has no possible victory. I'd LOVE to love THAT!

tek...Bush is NOT a liar, cheater, murderer or war criminal. You are a LIAR for saying so. You are empowering MURDERERS and WAR CRIMINALS by using these terms to describe someone who opposes murderers and war criminals. You are a CHEATER for using LIES to bolster your political party EVEN if you do great harm comes to a country becasue of it. Just as long as your political favorite party prevails, its OK to ruin a nation just to get your LIES out in support of your own party. Calling bush a 'War Criminal' and 'Murderer' makes me think you are a 'Fascist'. You have a right to your opinion, but when you resort to lying and slandering expect to get more of the same. How do you like that loose lips?
by NoWayJose on December 2nd, 2006
You are a discredit to your party, your cause, and your country. Put down the shovel. Quit while you're... less far behind than you will be if you keep up with your distortions and misreadings. tek may have gone a little overboard, but you need rabies shots and possibly protective detention in a secure psychiatric ward.

NoWayJose: I'm sorry, but I don't think I mentioned political parties at all. So I don't know where you think I am "bolstering". And, by the way, isn't that just what "your political favorite party" is doing while they're in charge? Ruin a nation? He has admitted to lying. He did so when I told reporters he lied about Donald Rumsfeld leaving. So, check one. Cheater, well let's. Under Bush's auspices, Karl Rove did some pretty nasty things to voters during the 2004 election. I know, I know, where's the proof right? Well, I don't know. where's the proof for why we invaded Iraq? We'll call that one a tie. Murderer, under him as governor, Texas murdered more convicted criminals than the entire country had even done. And as President, he is ultimately held responsible for all of the actions of our military. How many more innocent people have to die before Iraq is "won"? This one, I'll take: Check.
by teknimage on December 2nd, 2006
And finally, he invaded another nation under, at least wrong, and at most fraudulent grounds. All of those innocent Iraqis we were supposed to be "liberating". Tsk. Tsk. What was it from his father's war? Oh, right: Collateral Damage. Check mate.

jervinator: Thanks for you thoughts. Personally, I don't think I've gone too far. But, history will tell. Not Answerbag. After all, wasn't the question: "What do you think of George W. Bush?" I think my thoughts are known.
by teknimage on December 2nd, 2006
Also, look, this is just my opinion. As are everyone else's here. My opinion can change as I get more facts and see more sides. NoWayJose may find this hard to believe, but there are a number of things that I actually agree with Bush on. Yeah! I shocked me too! I don't pretend to know everything, not do I think that what I know now is all that I will even know. That helps me keep an open mind about things. I don't know if everyone can say that, but then, I can really only speak for myself.
by teknimage on December 2nd, 2006
I just wouldn't go so far as "war criminal" without at least an indictment, nor do I believe he is a murderer. He may have caused many people to die, but I can't see him doing so in cold-blood.
by 8 Jan 2004-10 Dec 2009 on December 2nd, 2006
I see your points. Here is one of the things I've read to make me consider the "war criminal" thought: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4999734/ Also, while he may not have pulled any trigger or anything, the utter lack of compassion for the very people we have claimed to be liberating when they get caught in the crossfire is pretty cold-blooded to me. When questioned directly about the number of Iraqi civilian deaths since the beginning of the war, Bush has steadfastly maintained his "We don't keep track of those." attitude. Really? Don't keep track of the loss of innocent human life? That's cold. I don't doubt that what he's doing is seen by him and others as being the best course for America and Americans, but haven't we seen that kind of hubris in world leaders before? This is a great and mighty country, made better by allowing the voice of descent to speak free and be heard. I love this country. I just think we're WAY off course right now.
