What is the absolute highest note a trumpet can play?

    i'm only 11 (grade 5) but i can reach C (2 octaves above middle c) but my friend is also 11 and can only reach G (12 notes higher) so i think it depends on the player, i have only been playing the trumpet for 4 years and this will be my 5. whilst my friend has learnt it since he was 5 so i don't know if that will affect it.
