Can a candle burn in zero gravity?

    I believe not, the molten wax if it was lit would fly in all directions and without fuel the flame would go out. and then the candle itself wouldnt stay put.

    • but the solid wax would stay put and be melted by the flame and enough would be soaked up by the wick to sustain the flame.

    • Surface tension would also keep the liquid wax on the candle. But without fans or other means of moving oxygen to the flame, it would have to burn out fairly quickly.
