Help answer this question below.
Yes. That means that when a person is created he/she has all the same potential as the next person. But, it stops right there. The whole rest of his or her life will consist of handicaps, limitations, prejudices, injustices, benefits, perks, abilities; all will effect that person's eventual achievements. It will be a testament to that person's character how he/she deal with what life throws at him/her.

What about a person with a learning disorder, and Albert Einstein?
No amount of encouragement or effort can help someone with an IQ of 65 understand quantum physics. I'm not being a jerk I believe that everyone should be /treated/ as an equal, but no, not everyone is given potential or a fair chance.

When they are first created they are equal. If something occurs to change that while they develop that's part of the things life throws at them. And just being as smart as Albert Einstein or a dumb as dirt has no effect on a person's success. Anyone can be successful or a failure. It's the way they overcome their difficulties that makes them such. Not how they start out or how they are treated along the way. And success can be measured in all kinds of things. Mother Theresa was a successful caregiver while Bill Gates is a successful business man.

Mother Theresa was a masochist but that's a different subject.
I'm going to assume you're saying 'created' starts at conception as opposed to birth, but that's still not right. Even if no one does anything wrong in the birth process complications can and do arise. And what exactly do you define as equal? That everyone has a fair shot at life? That no matter what, if someone puts their mind to it they can achieve anything? Because that's just simply not how it works and any other mindset is being purely idealistic. IQ was just an example, but there are lots and lots of people out there that were created with just a completely unfair shot at life. And there are people with amazing natural skills and there are others that are created with nothing. And some people no matter how hard they work, no matter what will only achieve a fraction of their desires, and be tortured for trying. No, at creation, at conception, at birth we are NOT equal. Just the opposite actually, we are all different.
