Help answer this question below.
It does not load in the typical way. It is one of these ergonomic reduced-effort staplers, and there is no obvious way to put staples inside it. This is driving me CRAZY. HELP.

AHA. It was a combination of what you suggested and what Grandma Roses said - Push on the back piece *and* pull on the spine of the stapler.

Good going!! Coz otherwise Grandma and I were going to have to come and see the stapler in person and fiddle around with it some. :)

Had the same question. At the end of the stapler is a purple button with an indentation and etched staples image that when you push down on that button the stapler drawer pops open. But - I pulled on all aspects of this stapler for about 10 minutes trying to figure it out. Could they maybe put 3 words on the packaging - push purple button!!!
