Help answer this question below.

Why do so many people here ask questions about other people's religions and beliefs? Are they trying to learn or are they putting down other people's beliefs?

    Brian... We have encountered each other momentarily once before and I may have distributed an answer to said question or a similar one you may have provided, but you and I both have acquired the understanding that less than 50% of ABers legitimately pose questions to gain a deeper understanding on the religion they inquire about. (I would even say less than 30%) The majority of these users are theists who try nothing more than to defend their religion and impose their beliefs onto an unwilling public, also to down opposing religions at every turn. It has become part of AnswerBag's culture so it has become un surprising. Only a handful seek to obtain an in depth understanding on other's beliefs, in some cases it begins in this manner but pride and belief interferes within the exchange resulting in one party attempting to prove why the other's theories are wrong......
