what you keep a knife in your make up bag

Yes. I am surprised that you are surprised!
I use it to sharpen my make-up pencils mostly. Pencil sharpners break them. I also use it to open packaging, trim and clean things. A knife is such a handy item.
I lost my pocket knife while on vacation so I currently have a small razor knife in my make-up bag. I like it and may keep it - just in case I ever get marooned!
