A barrel of crude oil last week was u.s.$100:00,gas was $3:00 per gallon.this week it fell by $10:00 per barrel and gas is $2:99 a gallon.from a mathematical point of view,is that the correct price?

    I agree, this seems disproportionate. This is a consistent trend and the price seems not to be linked. In the 70's we were told it was supply and demand but, as people conserved the price continuesd to rise . I think that the oil companies use all of these as an answere but realy they are involved in illegal activities such as gouging and price fixing.
