    I have an intense fear of intimacy. I think that's why I'm so close to my family. I'm 30 and I've only had one girlfriend which ended after 6 months. I have trouble making new friends in the fear that they will detect my desperation for attention and love. I am very lonely because of this and wouldn't wish what I experience on anyone.
