My washing machine shows temperature options like "hot," "warm," "cool," and "cold." What water temperatures would these correspond to?

    I think the easiest and most accurate way to find the exact temperatures that correspond to the different settings (cold, warm, hot) would be to measure them. Let you washing machine fill up with water at a certain setting, then use a thermometer to measure. For example, I would use my meat thermometer (that I use for making roasts)... it has a digital readout and measures a wide range of temperatures.
