Question

Would you characterize the annual cycle of growing and cutting Christmas trees as beneficial or detrimental?

Every year, hundreds of thousands of pine trees are grown and cut for the Christmas holiday. Is this a shameful waste or does dedicating the land to growing things compensate for that waste?

    • I agree that it seems like a terrible waste; however, it is better use of the land than pavement or buildings. Don't you think so?
