    There are what follows:
    I. DO NOT start before the ball is hiked (if QB, false start; defender, offsides). Yardage may be gained (defender), or lost (QB).

II. NO grabing or holding. Yardage may be gained (defender), or lost (QB).

III. Plays MAY be challenged (throws, FG, TD, fumble...). If challenge works successfully, that down will be restored (if a team tries a FG on third down, and barelily makes it, the other team can challenge. If successful, no points will be awarded, and it is one again third down. If fails, the points will be awarded, and it is the other team's ball).

IV. If a team scores (without a successful challenge), then the points will be awarded, and the ball goes to the other team.

    V. When a team scores, they must kick off to the other team.

There are more rules. Go to http://www.football.com/rulesabc/index.shtml for rules.
