Why Men are viewed as success objects and women as sex objects?

This is something that takes a few courses in sociology, anthropology, and women's studies to get a grasp on as it's deep-rooted in our culture. Generally speaking though, because that's what society tells us. It's not rooted in nature or biology as there are other cultures where these sorts of views of men and women do not exist.
