Should Tony Blair resign now and should a general election be called by the new PM?

    Yes, I think Tony shuld go now, but no, I don't think there should be a General Election.
    The voters of Britain voted, no matter what the semantics, for a Labour government, and wiser people knew that this would have to mean some time under another leader so that the government could be effective before the next election.

    On a personal note I think it is a trvesty that Gordon Brown will probably the next leader. He has run the Exchecquer badly and will run the country even more badly. But the constitution (what constitution?) allows for the party in power to nominate who they want to lead them. If anyone voted for Tony Blair rather than Labour, then they will be getting their just desserts.
